The position bridges frontline operations with regulatory expectations by ensuring effective implementation of compliance processes and contributing to an informed and responsive compliance environment.

• Conduct and oversee Merchant CDD/KYC processes as per Bangladesh Bank regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Act as the primary contact for addressing and resolving day-to-day compliance queries from internal teams.
• Assist the compliance manager in maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory standards.
• Navigating frequent updates and circulars from Bangladesh Bank and other regulators, requiring continuous monitoring and swift adaptation of internal CDD processes.
• Coordinating with frontline teams, merchant onboarding units, and operations to obtain accurate and complete KYC/CDD documentation under tight deadlines.
• Managing high volumes of day-to-day compliance queries while ensuring consistent quality, timely responses, and alignment with regulatory guidelines.
• Managing compliance documentation and audit preparedness while balancing daily support tasks and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure proper maintenance and updating of compliance records, particularly those related to merchant onboarding and verification.
• Monitor and communicate changes in regulatory frameworks, especially those affecting merchant due diligence and financial crime compliance.
• Collaborate with relevant teams (e.g., operations, business, legal) to gather, validate, and provide compliance-related information.
• Provide administrative and operational support for compliance initiatives, audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Assist in preparing compliance-related documentation, reports, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the CDD process through feedback, data analysis, and collaboration with the compliance leadership team.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Additional Requirements:
• 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in compliance roles within a PSP/PSO or reputed bank in Bangladesh, particularly in relation to Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks, especially AML/CFT, KYC/CDD regulations applicable to the payments industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.
